Laser Genesis is a non-ablative treatment using the 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength, which works by heating the dermis to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and gently resurface the skin.
Here’s everything you need to know for post-treatment care and optimal results.
What to Expect After Laser Genesis
Because Laser Genesis is a non-invasive, no-downtime procedure, most clients can return to regular activities immediately. However, you may experience:
- Mild redness or warmth in the treated area (usually fades within a few hours)
- A flushed or glowing appearance—this is normal and expected
- Slight tightness or dryness in the first 24–48 hours
- For some, a temporary increase in breakouts as impurities purge from the skin
Improvements build gradually over time, with optimal results typically seen after 3–6 sessions spaced about 2–4 weeks apart.
