How is Ultherapy®?

Ultherapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production and lift and tighten the skin. It is FDA-approved for treating mild to moderate skin laxity in areas such as the face, neck, and décolletage.

What are the benefits?

• Stimulates collagen production: The ultrasound energy from Ultherapy stimulates the production of new collagen, a protein that provides structural support to the skin. Collagen production declines with age, leading to skin laxity and sagging. By stimulating collagen production, Ultherapy helps to lift, firm, and tighten the skin, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

• Non-invasive and no downtime: One of the main benefits of Ultherapy is that it is a non-invasive procedure, which means it does not require incisions or needles. There is typically no downtime associated with Ultherapy, and patients can resume their regular activities immediately after the treatment.

• Customizable treatment: Ultherapy can be customized to target specific areas of concern, such as the eyebrows, cheeks, jowls, neck, and décolletage, to address the individual needs and goals of each patient. The treatment can be tailored in terms of the depth, intensity, and duration of the ultrasound energy, depending on the patient's skin condition and desired outcome.

• Gradual results: The results of Ultherapy are gradual and continue to improve over time as the body naturally produces new collagen in response to the treatment. Most patients experience a noticeable improvement in skin tightening and lifting within 2 to 3 months after the treatment, with optimal results usually seen at around 3 to 6 months.

How Is The Treatment Performed??

The Ultherapy device is then applied to the skin, and the healthcare professional uses it to deliver focused ultrasound energy to the targeted areas. The energy is delivered in short pulses to stimulate collagen production and promote skin tightening and lifting. The depth, intensity, and duration of the ultrasound energy can be customized based on the specific treatment plan designed for each patient.

Once the Ultherapy treatment is completed, there is usually no downtime, and most patients can resume their regular activities immediately after the procedure. Some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling, tingling, or tenderness in the treated areas, which typically resolve on their own within a few days.

Is the treatment safe?

Ultherapy is generally considered safe when performed by a qualified healthcare professional. Common side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, tingling, or tenderness in the treated areas, which typically resolve independently within a few days.

It's important to note that the specific results and benefits of the treatment may vary depending on the individual's skin condition, treatment plan, and other factors. It's essential to consult with our specialists to determine if the treatment is suitable for your specific needs and expectations.
